£9630 is allocated to the school for PE. We currently spend the money on:

  • PE Apprentice £6237
  • Additional Resources £3393

The school has fourteen after school clubs for PE and Mr Ainsley is doing an outstanding job with the PE provision within school.

 

Pupil Premium

£182,460 is given to this school to spend on our most disadvantaged pupils to break down barriers to learning. To respond to Pupil Premium the school is spending the funding on:

  • Additional time purchased for the Education Welfare Officer to work with a range of families on pupil attendance - £7,800
  • Family Support Worker to do intensive work with families – £26,000
  • Additional time purchased from the Educational Psychologist to work with vulnerable pupils – £20,500
  • School supports after school clubs for these pupils - £2000
  • Additional TA intervention for reading, maths and spelling programmes - £46,322
  • Head of support services  - £27,868
  • Employment of specialist PE teacher providing PE lessons, extracurricular opportunities through sports teams and working with vulnerable families - £30,599
  • Bi-lingual Teaching Assistant to work with children and families new to the UK - £15,000
  • School counsellor one day per week to work with children who have identified need - £7,500
