One Minutes Silence

At 11am today we will be joining people around the world in a one minutes silence in respect for those who suffered in Paris over the weekend.

UNICEF OutRight week

We have registered to be a part of UNICEF's OutRight campaign and this week we will be: *Learning about how humanitarian emergencies impact on children’s rights around the world *Developing our knowledge and understanding of the Convention on the Rights of the Child *Speak out and express our views on children’s rights to our school community and the UK Prime Minister.

Children in Need Day

Bring £1 to school, wear something spotty and join us in raising funds for Children in Need.

Dress Down Day

Grove Junior are holding a Dress Down Day to collect donations for the Christmas Fayre. If you wish your child to attend school in their own clothes, please send a donation to the Fayre into school on Friday 6th November 2015. Any donations would be hugely appreciated.

Douglas Macmillan Fund Raiser!

9th October is the day where you can come dressed as a pirate and pay a pound to go to our Dougie Mac fund raising for care of cancer sufferers.

French Trip

Residential trip to France. Year 5 and 6 children went with staff to spend a week in France. Look on our MFL under the curriculum header page for further details and photos of what happened!

Online Safety Day

All children learned about staying safe when online. A whole range of activities were taught and our characters Zip it, Block it and Flag it were introduced! See our online safety page for photos and much more!
