For New Parents

May I take this opportunity to thank you for choosing Grove Junior School as the preferred place for your child from September 2017.

Our school is one that is rapidly changing, and at its core is the value and belief of high quality learning and teaching for all of our children. We believe that every child can succeed in an environment that is safe, secure, stimulating and exciting. We have dedicated and committed staff here at Grove who are working hard to ensure that learning is not only challenging but interesting and most importantly fun! We all know that children learn best when they think they are not learning at all.

We have high standards of pupil dress and behaviour which has been commented on by adults who have visited the school. We operate an “open door” policy at Grove where if any concerns have arisen, then please feel free to make an appointment to contact our Home School Link worker on hand in the first instance. Appointments can be made to see myself via the school office.

Once again I would like to thank you for your choice. I look forward to working with you in the coming months and years ahead, as we work together to ensure that every child does matter.
