As you are aware, during our Autumn term at Grove Academy, your child is learning about “The good the bad and the gruesome” about the Egyptians. We have been offered an exciting opportunity for your child to visit Birmingham Museum to take part in lots of interactive and exciting activities, including a hands on workshop which will link to their current learning.
The four classes will be visiting the museum across two separate days.
Hufflepuff RC and Hufflepuff KE will be visiting on Tuesday 23rd October 2018.
Hufflepuff JW and Hufflepuff JB will be visiting on Thursday 25th October 2018.
Children will need to arrive at school at the earlier time of 8:15am ready for a prompt 8:30am departure and will return at approximately 3:45pm. Children are expected to wear full school uniform, a warm and waterproof coat and sensible footwear. We ask for a donation towards the trip of £14.00 per child, to be paid by Friday 12th October via your child’s Parentpay account. This cost includes admission, coaches and guided tours. If enough donations are not collected, the trip may not be able to go ahead.
