Year 6 - World War Two Evacuee Dress Up

Children will have the experience meeting 'new host families', understanding rationing and packing their suitcase to 'leave home'.

The day will be run by the Year 6 team and will take place within school.

To really give children the experience of being 'sent away from home', we would appreciate if you could stay behind for a few minutes after dropping your child off in the morning. This will give you the opportunity to 'say goodbye' to the children and help them to think about how children would have felt during this period of History.
