Image of World Book Day - Vocabulary Parade

To mark this day, we are thinking a little bit outside the box and completing  a ‘vocabulary parade’. For this to take place, we are asking all to children come to school dressed as a word—this could be a noun, an adjective, a verb or another other exciting WOW word.

We are not asking you to spend any money , but to be creative in the resources you have available at home. Your chosen word should be clearly displayed within your outfit. As well as a ‘vocabulary parade’,  we will also have a competition for the best dressed/ most creative word in each class.

Below are some examples along with images. You can find more examples if you search for ‘vocabulary parade’ online.
