This is an informal visit where the children will be able to explore the exhibitions including the exciting, fossil room.
The four classes will be visiting across two separate days.
Gryffindor AF and Gryffindor HF will be visiting on Tuesday 4th February 2020.
Gryffindor JK and Gryffindor GJ will be visiting on Thursday 6th February 2020.
Children will need to arrive at school for normal registration at 8:50am. We will be leaving school after registration, definitely no later than 9.30am and walking to the museum. Children are to wear full school uniform, a warm and waterproof coat and sensible shoes for the visit.
We aim to be back in school by lunchtime on both days however, we are requesting that children bring a packed lunch on their visit day in case of any late return from the museum. Those children who receive a free school meal will have a packed lunch provided.
As the children will arrive back in school at dinner time end of day collection will remain at the normal time of 3:25pm.
As this is a local visit no permission slip is required however if you have any queries or questions about the visit please communicate with your child’s teacher via the communication diary BY FRIDAY 31ST JANUARY.
