As part of their continued studies around the Great Invaders, Year 5 will be visiting Tatton Hall in Knutsford. This is an engaging and stimulating visit where the children will learn all about how Vikings and Anglo Saxons lived through a variety of practical activities and routines.
The four classes will be visiting across two separate days.
Ravenclaw JWo and Ravenclaw RL will be visiting on Tuesday 13th November 2018.
Ravenclaw LD and Ravenclaw AC will be visiting on Wednesday 14th November 2018.
Children will need to arrive at school at 8:15am prompt as the coach will leave the school at 8:30am and return at approximately 3:25pm. Children are expected to wear full school uniform and wear a warm and waterproof coat and sensible shoes. Those children who are on free school meals will have a packed lunch provided whereas all other children will need to bring a healthy packed lunch (including a non-fizzy drink). Please bring this in a carrier bag so that it can all be thrown away afterwards.
We ask for donations towards the trip of £16.50 per child, to be paid by 7th November, which will cover the cost of admission and the coaches. If enough donations are not collected, the trip may, sadly, not be able to go ahead.
In the attempt to remove all cash and cheques from school, we are asking all parents to use our e-payment method to pay for this trip. This can be done online using the Parentpay website.
If you have not already activated your Parentpay account (you will have previously received a unique activation username and password) you will be prompted to change these and to keep them safe and secure as your Username and Password for future logins. Once you have activated your account, you can make payments straight away.
